Hi, my name is Rebekah Bryan, a motivated architectural designer who just received a Master of Architecture degree from Texas A&M University, with the goal of becoming a licensed Architect. I also hold a Bachelors degree in Environmental Design (Environmental Design in Architectural Studies), which I earned with Magna Cum Laude honors, also from Texas A&M University. Alongside my Bachelors degree, I completed a minor in Art and Architectural History, further developing a strong foundation in both the technical and artistic aspects of architecture.As an Architectural Designer at Urban Bobcat Architects, I had the privilege of working on diverse projects specializing in small commercial and local designs. Within this dynamic firm, I contributed to various stages of the architectural process. Utilizing software such as SketchUp, Enscape, and Photoshop, I created detailed models and captivating renders to effectively communicate design concepts to clients. Additionally, my proficiency in AutoCAD enabled me to redline and prepare documents for permit submittal, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and adherence to industry standards. I also actively participated in design and drafting tasks, resolving challenges with innovative and practical solutions. Furthermore, I assisted in interior design tasks, showcasing my versatility and ability to collaborate across disciplines.I have recently begun a new position at Merriman Anderson Architects in Dallas as a Design Professional where I plan to continue expanding my knowledge and skills. I have already worked on a variety of projects and in a variety of design phases in my short time there. Beyond my technical skills, I approach each project with a problem-solving mindset and a strong focus on collaboration. I am known for my ability to think creatively, finding innovative solutions to design challenges that align with project objectives.
