I am a compassionate, non judgmental, hard working person who values assisting people in their health care self-management. I hope to take care of people in the acute hospital setting, and teach them how to take care of themselves when they leave the hospital. I value each person I interact with and treat them with the utmost dignity and respect. I love interacting with people and making them smile, and building trustful relationships with them. I believe that the profession of nursing is a noble calling, that requires compassion, love, larger amounts of effort and critical thinking skills. It is an important value of mine to treat all of my patients with dignity and respect, because everyone deserves to be treated in this manner. The core values that guide my work are honesty, compassion, and hard work, which is always displayed in my patient care. I like to stay up to date on the most current evidence based nursing practices so I attend conferences and symposiums. I also do research outside of those conferences to see new treatment ideas and research.
