I worked 12 hours a week with the local Athen’s non profit Diva’s Who Win.- 2 hours weekly at the Textile Center, sorting donations- 5 hour shifts at their boutique twice a week- I was the sole intern- tasked with taging, pricing, steaming all clothes- in charge of merchandising at the boutique- brought over new clothing from the sorting center to the boutique- created a 18 page info/protocol binder for future interns/volunteer training at the boutique- created a sustainability presentation for their fashion binder

Member of the student merchandising association at the University of GeorgiaSMA is an organization that uses all levels of business, marketing, merchandising, advertising, and public relations to explore both the business and creative side of fashion!• Apart of the styling team• SMA has one photoshoot for a look book in the fall semester of each year• SMA puts on a fashion show the spring semester each year• As a member of the styling team we decide as a team what the theme for the look book and the fashion show• The styling team puts together a mood board to ensure the whole club understands the theme• Before the fashion show and the look books, groups of two go to an assigned store in Athens to pick out different looks according to the theme• This is an amazing way to make connections with store owners in Athens and to show case their clothing
