I was promoted by Stephen Hester to take over responsibility for Chairmanship of Broadgate Estates; Corporate Responsibility; and IT from retiring COO whilst retaining responsibility for capital markets financing and derivatives. I was a member of eight man Executive Committee.Undertook strategic consultancy for Lloyds Banking Group to prepare 5 yr plan.

Promoted by Sir John Ritblat to use skills to enhance value by bringing financial discipline to rent review processes and 30 person property asset management team.I chaired the Derivatives Committee, managing entire Group’s interest rate, foreign exchange, counterparty and property derivative risks. I chose team, structured, and road-showed 15 yr US$150m.

I was promoted to take on increased responsibilities for day to day running of secretariat. The role included overall responsibility for credit control billing over £500 m per annum, collecting 90% within 7 days; for documentation of bi-lateral and syndicated bank facilities. I organised documentation for and the running of AGM and other shareholder.

Recruited by current British Land Company Secretary to strengthen team of a growing real estate PLC. I introduced 'Blueprint' company secretarial software for statutory records management which is still in use today and deputised for credit control and treasury functions as required.

Promoted following takeover of ERG PLC by Granada Group PLC to be Secretarial Assistant of TV rental division based in Bedford. Dealt with customer complaints including small claims court proceedings and attendance. Responsible for post integration issues including wind-down arising from takeover.

ERG plc was a TV rental and sales company with divisions dealing with CCTV and related technologies. I was selected to add to team following the takeover of Telefusion PLC.I introduced and implemented new computer software to manage company records and statutory books and attended and prepared minutes for subsidiary company board meetings.

Ewbank Preece were an international firm of consulting engineers for large-scale infrastructure. I was selected as a trainee to strengthen team in a growing organization involving immediate contact with directors and senior executives providing legal and secretariat support in UK and overseas.
