Crivantech is a creative software development company focusing on the creation of Games and Interactive Apps for Android and iOS Devices. Crivantech brings their client’s ideas into the digital world and works closely with them on all aspects of the project from Design to Development to Implementation.Crivantech is currently working on:Alvilda’s Return – An adventure game which uses sound to manipulate the movement of the character Alvilda. It features a game story based on Scandinavian folklore. The prototype was built with House on Fire (based in Copenhagen).My role on this project involved:• Designing the game. • Designing characters, interactions and levels. • Writing a treatment of the game’s story.• Overseeing work from programmers, concept artists, 3D artists• Working with the Sound Designer to develop sound-based interactions. • Creating the game design document:- Detailing advanced mechanics not found in the prototype.- Identifying target demographics and target market.- Explaining the level progression system- Detailing the enemy types not found in the prototype.

TreGiv – The social Giving App. Bringing together events and gifts.My role on this project involved:• Designing the App• Prototyping the App with Invision• Writing the Pitch Deck• Working with the 2D Artist and the UX Designer on the conceptual wireframes.• Setting up a crowdfunding campaign, including planning the timelines.• Producing assets for the Crowdfunding campaign, including the TreGiv Landing Page• Creating and editing a video explaining the concept of TreGiv.

Studied a Masters Degree (MA) in Game Design and Development. I completed multiple projects over a 2-year period - these are detailed in the Accomplishments section lower down this page.

Managing of 8 full and part time staff, customer liaison, financial accounting and liaising with thetechnical department.

While working at BBC Worldwide my focus was on working with the Top Gear brand. This role involved: • Tracking analytics on the Top Gear Games website. • Liaising with the Top Gear Facebook team. • Play-testing Top Gear flash games then giving feedback to the developers. • Publishing updates to the Top Gear Games website including adding a Top Gear flash game each week. • Balancing, and bug testing a larger unreleased Top Gear Game.• Tracking and reporting bugs to the game developer. • Writing a strategy paper on potential for Word-puzzle games to tie in with BBC IP. • Writing a strategy paper on freemium games and their use of monetisation.
