Taught children ages 4 through 16 English from beginner to advanced. Developed and carried out creative and academic hybrid curriculum, such as debate, nonfiction storytelling, poetry, media analysis, and app design.

My role involves focusing on folks discovering their values and confidence, and also figuring out how to pursue life goals aligned with those values. I encourage my clients to incorporate creative practices or exercises to increase their wellbeing.

Researched bacteriophages under the mentorship of Betty Kutter. Designed and created a comic pamphlet based on the life cycle of a bacteriophage.

Interviewed and wrote articles about people and occasions of interest around the community, designed and finished a visual communications project for the Veterans Center at the college, gave and received feedback on colleague's visual and written projects, scheduled social media posts. Collaborated with the Communications and Marketing team on various visual and organizational projects.

Collaborated with students brainstorming, revising, editing, and proofreading all sorts of written documents, spearheaded the Instagram social media marketing for the Center, designed posters for events.

My responsibilities included editing of poetry submitted and accepted into the Phoenix, Clark College's award-winning literary and visual arts journal. I worked with a team to choose the submitted literary works and bring them to their full potential by collaborating with my adviser, team mates, and original writer. Promotion and working with the full Phoenix team -- the artists and visual designers as well as the literary team -- included coming up with and executing campaigns.

As a literary arts teacher's assistant, I came up with activities and prompts for each class that adhered to a curriculum but also allowed the students to remain creative. I facilitated creative workshops and gave appropriate feedback to the students while encouraging them to do the same by stepping back when necessary. Another responsibility was general organization, making sure pieces were turned in, graded, and accounted for in there designated locations.
