- To liaise with the staff of the CBD Secretariat on all technical matters related to NBSAP alignment.- Monitoring the implementation of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP).- Coordinating international cooperation projects aimed at biodiversity conservation. - Coordinating the activities and work of the National Biodiversity Sub-Committee in Morocco for the implementation of multilateral treaties related to biodiversity, notably the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and its Nagoya and Cartagena Protocols.- Coordinating the implementation of the National Program for the Protection and Enhancement of Environmental Areas (PNPVME).- Updating and maintaining the content of the Clearing House mechanism of Biodiversity (CHM): http://ma.chm-cbd.net- Managing the biodiversity information system "Database" at www.biodiversite-maroc.com.- Supporting local actors (regional and municipal councils) as well as Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the on-ground implementation of projects contributing to biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services enhancement.- Contributing to the organization of significant events such as the second edition of the African Youth Summit on Biodiversity and International Biodiversity Days celebrations.- Establishing pilot contracts for support mechanisms (payment for ecosystem services).- Participating in expert group work and intergovernmental negotiations such as CBD COPs, Nagoya MOP-COP, SBSTTA, SBI, IPBES Plenaries, and the BBNJ Treaty.- Representing the government authority responsible for the environment at the board meetings of public institutions involved in management, valorization, and preservation (ANEF, ANDZOA, INRH, ANDA, etc.).- Representing the government authority responsible for the environment at sessions and thematic meetings of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council (CESE) on biodiversity-related subjects.

- Contribute to the development of Waste Valorization Chains: WEEE/CDW/HW/BW/PVFV...- Identify the legal, institutional, and financial mechanisms necessary for the establishment of Waste Valorization Chains.- Identify activities for the preparation of the annual action plan of the department and the budget planning for the implementation of planned programs.- Conduct orientation and briefing meetings with consultants on the activities to be carried out.- Prepare consultation meetings with partners for the validation of the reports prepared.
