Welding Engineer
CurrentSupport Tender and bid for both offshore & onshore pipeline projects- Specification review and analysis.- Clarification tables and TQ redactions.- Advise on welding solutions based on project specifications.- Estimation of cost and consumable quantities.Managing and editing welding documents & procedures (SOW, pWPS, WPS, WDR, PQR, Welding Books, ITP, NDT procedures).Coordination of welding activities in Serimax workshop and on production site- Supervision of welders for WPQT and WQT.- Supervision of welding preparation (pipe reception, beveling operations, fit-up).- Supervision of production.- Implementation of safety standards.- Organisation of client meeting to present technical results.Knowledge of international standards, ISO 15614-1, API 1104, DNVGL-ST-F101, ASME B31.4 & B31.8.Knowledge of welding procedures for Cabron Steel pipeline- Mechanized welding : mGMAW-STT, mGMAW-CMT, mGMAW-P, mGMAW (135) & mGTAW (141) in narrow-gap bevel.- Manual : SMAW (111) & FCAW (136)Knowledge of NDT techniques in accordance with specifications & standards- Interpretation of AUT scans (TOFD, PA UT)- Interpretation of RT films- Interpretation of DPI & MPI results.Projects participation: Mobilisation on site (between 2 & 8 weeks)- Onshore:o Saudi Aramco (Saudi Arabia): 7 projects (CS) – Welding procedure qualification and production supporto SWCC - Saudi water conversion company (Saudi Arabia): 1 project (CS) – welding procedure qualification, welder qualification and production supporto Energinet (Denmark): 1 project (CS) – welding procedure qualification and production support- Offshore:o PMS (Egypt): 1 project (CS) – production support
