About Reddy Pullanagari
With a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and over 10 years of experience in the field, I am the Technology and Development Lead at The Plant Accelerator, a world-class facility for plant phenotyping and research. I lead a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to develop and implement innovative phenotyping solutions for plant breeding and crop improvement, using cutting-edge spectral imaging, data analysis, and statistics.My mission is to leverage the power of remote sensing and data science to enhance the understanding and management of plant traits and performance, and to support the development of more resilient and productive crops. I have developed and deployed an automatic end-to-end framework to process large-scale remote sensing data from multispectral and hyperspectral sensors, and to extract valuable insights and information for decision making. I am also passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with the scientific community and the public, and have published multiple papers and reports on remote sensing and phenotyping.
