Engaged Immigrant Youth & Settlement Workers in Schools Supporting youth to stay in school and improve their chances of obtaining meaningful educational or employment opportunities. Engaging newcomer youth and parents to establish meaningful connections with their schools and communities.

Working with the Ministry of Education, vocational/technical instructors, and local partners to develop and implement entrepreneurial skills training curriculum for youth ages 16-25.

I undertook an analysis of Oxfam's Climate Hearings in order to inform Oxfam's on-going practices of managing and disseminating knowledge on climate change.

Planned, implemented and evaluated newcomer youth program. Employed film, art, music, forum theatre, and sports to engage youth in understanding and acting on discrimination. I developed the existing family reunification program assisting those who have been affected by civil war or natural disaster to re-connect with family members.

Co-founded bi-annual participatory conference where youth plan, promote and participate in creative social action. Events use arts, music, film, dance, and forum theatre to engage youth in actively learning about and acting on social issues.
