About Shilpa Reddy

Classically trained brand and product marketing leader with a digital/performance focus and a GM mindset. I grow consumer brands through impactful storytelling, holistic user experience and data-driven activation across all channels including digital, social, influencer, search, PR, TV, OTT etc. A strong player/coach, I practice radical candor and build high-satisfaction and high-achieving teams. I've been leading brand and holistic omni-channel (brand, product and performance) marketing strategies in CPG and consumer businesses driving growth for 15+ years since graduating from Harvard Business School, most recently at Acorns. My work has been recognized at Cannes, Edison awards, and Allure, and has earned P&G’s best shopper marketing award, BJ’s Marketer of the Year, Best coach/manager and At Acorns, I lead a fantastic team of mission-driven and growth-hungry marketers to change the way America (and the world) handles money. First, we debunked the myth that investing was only for the wealthy, by making it possible to invest spare change through an app. Now, we are unlocking our next chapter of growth and cultural relevance with our newest product, the Mighty Oak Debit Card - a card that saves and invests for you, in collaboration with the mighty Dwayne Johnson, and are engaging and educating parents and kids with GoHenry, so we can make every kid smart with money. At CarGurus (Pre IPO, Public) I led Brand (Strategy + Creative + Activation), Product marketing (Innovation + Core) and Media (Offline + Digital/Performance), doubling brand awareness within 18 months making CarGurus the #1 most-visited car shopping site in the US, and the fastest growing car-shopping site in CA and the UK. I also led a global company rebrand with new positioning, product launches, site redesign and brand book.At P&G I built classic brand marketing muscle with an emphasis on using digital / performance channels to accelerate growth. I launched Gillette Flexball with a digital-first approach that accelerated go-to-market and delivered Year 1 sales of +$500million. I led the strategy & innovation plan for P&G's eCommerce platform targeting Club shoppers, built a ‘social desk’ for Venus across Content, PR and paid digital, and translated YouTube views into offline sales growth for Old Spice. Prior to P&G, I worked on early-stage companies where I rolled my sleeves up and launched an organic tea brand, Teatulia, and grew a mom-and-pop operation into a 10 store super-market chain, Meena Bazar.
