Lisa’s love affair with real estate began when she landed her first full-time job as a receptionist for property firm NZ Invest. She immediately enjoyed the excitement of helping people into their dream homes and found her degree in psychology helpful for understanding clients’ motivations to buy specific properties. Her next role was at JLL, where she perfected her skills in leasing commercial real estate, communications and marketing, and quickly worked her way up the ranks to office manager. Lisa qualified as real estate agent at Barfoot & Thompson in Ponsonby and was snapped up by Ray White Sandringham following the birth of her second child. Ockham had the good fortune to recruit Lisa in 2020 and she describes the role as her dream job. “I love how beautiful the buildings are and how functional. It makes me incredibly happy to hand over the keys to my clients.” When she’s not at work, our sunny salesperson is at the gym, reading endless books or standing on the sideline watching her kids play sports.
