IE Creativity Center is an open space, developed out of an institutional agreement between the Segovia City Government and internationally acclaimed IE University. Our main objective is to trigger creativity transversally, facilitating a flow of interaction between the city and the diverse setting that is the IE universe.This project leverages the Arts, Humanities and Entrepreneurship to provoke this endless flow. We have the conviction of fusing divergent domains, so change thrives.The Center is strategically placed within Casa de la Moneda, a XVI century pioneering enterprise, and turning point for innovation, economic growth and cultural diversity. At the same time, it is located in core of one of the most stunning natural spots of Segovia, guaranteeing inspiration and fresh peace of mind.This space is a ten minute walk from IE University campus, and less than forty minutes from the capital city Madrid. Our program of activity regularly attracts as much the IE domain –stakeholders, professors, students of more than 100 nationalities, and specialists in innumerable fields- as it counts on a wide variety of artists, young audiences, critical thinkers, Start-up founders and institutional protagonists.Workshops with key professionals, major events, exhibitions and students-led initiatives conform a calendar that seeks facilitating personal and professional growth, integration, professional networking and the celebration of diversity. Festival representative of the company in a team of two, I coordinate every aspect of the company's monthly festivals -production, promotion, completion- in Edinburgh (UK).My main achievement: the establishment of Future Shorts in Scotland's capital city, having a regular quote of audience of 80 to 100 people every month and having settled regular collaboration with the actual hosting venue Inspace.

Community Interest Company specialised in pop-up film screenings, exhibitions, conferences and retrospectives on Spanish & Latin American arts&cinema in Scotland.- MORE THAN A RETROSPECTIVE ON SPANISH CINEMA 2009600 hours directing every aspect of festival production to complete a two-weeks film&arts season with estimated cost of 60.000 euros. I managed a group of 8 people to ensure fifteen days of events [an eight-film season on Javier Bardem&Penélope Cruz at Filmhouse Edinburgh; screening of more than 100 short-films in five different venues across Edinburgh; a conference on Historical Memory by British specialists at University of Edinburgh and a photo exhibition].- NORMAN MCLAREN-SPANISH ANIMATION TODAY: CONVERGING IDENTITIES? 2010In collaboration with Andrew Ginger from Univ. of Stirling, and assisted by one collaborator in the design of brochure, I created, produced and completed by myself a 500 hours work and ten-days film season that focused on the link between Norman McLaren-contemporary Spanish animation. Screenings at Stirling and Edinburgh, visit&conference by Spanish animation specialist Malu Barnuevo, as well as presence of Spanish animator Coke Riobóo (Goya Winner 2007).- BALADA TRISTE FESTIVAL 2011600 hours managing a team of two to complete the largest Spanish short-film season to see light in Scotland; a two-film homage to Luis García Berlanga and the production of the incomparable Paper Portraits exhibition by Omar Arráez from Spain. The exhibition left six masterpieces in Scotland thanks to their acquisition by Edinburgh-based art curators. - SCOTLAND'S 1st CATALAN FILM FESTIVAL 2012Nine days of films around Edinburgh: the first Catalan Film Season that has been organized in Scotland to date. 600 hours of festival direction. - IBERODOCS 2014, 2015The first Spanish &Latin American documentary film festival to see light in Scotland. May 2016 will celebrate its 3rd ediion.

More than 6 months of experience as both Social Science teacher and tutor of three different groups of 12-years-old students in their first year as secondary school pupils. As part of a bilingual programme, I had to addapt my knowledge in the field of Humanities to English language. Finally, as a tutor I had to complement my tuition skills with a competitive capacity to deal with the individual challenges each student and their personal circumstances required me to, not to mention various nowadays debates on genre violence, identity, democratic performing, notions of respect, Historical Memory...I was always prompt to explain, uncover and discuss with my students as part of their learning.

Ciudad Furor was a Festival focusing on Urban Space. It was co-organised by the Latin America Solidarity Centre (Ireland) and CinemaAttic Productions CIC, and funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.It consisted of screenings from Latin America and Spain, seminars, workshops and roundtables organised in cooperation with local partners. The aim was to reflect on the urban epidermis of cities in Ireland and Latin America and to explore local grassroots initiatives which reconfigure public spaces for cultural, economic or social use.I was responsible of curating five documentary films which were to have a direct link with the given subject as well as coming from national films industries as diverse as Spanish, Uruguayan, Argentinian, and Irish. As a result of the project I could both maintain and enhance my professional bridge with institutions of the like of ICAU (Film Institute Uruguay), MEC (Ministry of Culture) Uruguay, KIMUAK, Basque Filmoteque, LASC Dublin and Trinity College Dublin. The series of events, including the film screenings, met full-house audiences in Ireland capital city Dublin.

Arts manager responsible of the implementation of LGBT (Lesbian, Guy, Bisexual, Transexual) cinema festivals the Fundación organizes all over Spain. I also coordinated the programming of filming material and more specifically those from partnership of the Fundación with the Norvegian Embassy in Madrid and the EEA Grants by which a selection of recently renowned Norvegian films was being exhibited throughout the LGBT network globally.

Responsible of the organization of a fundraising event in Edinburgh that raised 600€ for the implementation of food grants for primary schools in Castilla y León, Spain. I curated a series of Spanish & Latin-American short films and managed a team of four to achieve such a target in a period of two weeks.

Part of the back-up team, developing a voluntary rol to help maintaining the high standards the company has achieved in its last 20 years of activity in Segovia. My responsabilities gravitated towards ensuring the best service possible to the groups of French students that visit the city in regular, weekly tours by supporting the only and one local representative of Segovia.Introducing new lines of initiatives in terms of the activities the group of students do during their visits by offering an innovative pannel of workshops in interaction with local artists of the like of Vetraria, Alejandro Duque or Acueducto premier bakery.
