- Perform in-depth cost analysis to support pricing strategies and margin optimization.- Determine and analyze gross margin across store departments on various reporting bases.- Identify and analyze inventory cost variances and opportunities for cost reduction across physical stores, e-commerce, and gas stations.- Coordinate and oversee physical inventory counts in stores and distribution centers semi-annually.- Lead and integrate continuous improvement projects for accounting and operational processes.- Prepare and explain financial statements, focusing on gross margin and inventory accounts.- Calculate cost of sales, profit margins, reserves, and financial estimates for physical stores, e-commerce and gas stations.- Conduct inventory valuations and adjustments weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.- Collaborate with operations and finance to align cost accounting with company policies and support pricing and margin strategies.- Ensure financial accuracy through account reconciliations, cost reports, and audit support.

- Manage and record import transactions and cost allocations for goods in transit, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and MEX GAAP standards.- Reconcile monthly import accounts, including customs fees, duties, and freight expenses, following local and internal regulations.- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs documentation, and accounting standards.- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams (Operations and Buyers) to monitor inventory movement and delivery timelines in line with business requirements.- Analyze foreign currency fluctuations and impact on import costs, aligning results with company goals.- Prepare and review intercompany transactions related to imported merchandise, following reporting standards.- Develop and maintain internal controls for accurate import cost accounting and audit compliance.- Support financial audits by providing documentation and explanations related to import activities.

- Manage and reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis, covering sales revenue, expenses, and cash flow.- Process payroll accounting, including labor obligations and benefit allocations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and MEX GAAP.- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for accurate financial reporting.- Record and review intercompany billing for administrative services, allocating costs accurately across departments.- Analyze account balances and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate ledger records.- Collaborate with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to reconcile transactions and improve cash flow management.- Assist in preparing audit documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests to ensure compliance.- Generate reports on cash balances, revenue trends, and variance analysis for management decision-making.
