I am the son of traditional Aztec Dancers from Mexico, a native San Franciscan, and an advocate for BIPOC cultural continuity. As the Executive Director of Carnaval San Francisco–the largest and longest running multicultural celebration in California–, I work towards creating safe and vibrant spaces to cultivate and celebrate the Latinx, Caribbean and African Diaspora cultures and languages in San Francisco.
