Coordinated with 11th Air Force (11 AF), ANR, and 673rd Wing officials to plan security and maintenance for a Priority Level 2 air defense facility and 26 geographically dispersed radar installations.Supervised the planning and procedures to recruit, retain, and develop 129 full-time Active Guard/Reserve and 19 Drill Status Guard (DSG) personnel. Ensured equal employment opportunity (EEO), objective assessment, and fair promotion practices were in accordance with Federal (MD-715) and state EEO standards. Conducted periodic Unit Climate Assessments (UCA) to assess unit morale and identify positive/negative trends. Provided oversight and first-level appeal for hiring and promotion boards. In collaboration with FAA’s Anchorage Air Route Control Center (ARTCC) managers and ANR officials, planned and managed the use, repair, preventive maintenance, and modernization of 26 radar systems valued at $4.5B+. Coordinated with ARTCC representatives to establish mutually beneficial agreements and operational support initiatives.
