My journey in the construction industry started around 12 years ago, and as time passes, I learn more and add to my skillset every day! My trade started for a local independent merchant, and this is where I started to learn about the methods and processes of construction. This job provided the foundations for me to push on and grow in the industry.I joined Newton Waterproofing Systems back in 2015 as a trainee technical advisor. I spent 5 or so years in the technical department and was then promoted to the Senior Design Manager position which involved handling the creation of bespoke waterproofing designs backed by the companies own professional indemnity insurance. After a good 7 years, I decided that I needed a new challenge and moved to become a Technical Manager for Delta Membranes which involved key account liason around London and the South.I am a Certified Surveyor Of Structural Waterproofing. CSSW is a nationally recognised professional qualification for individuals involved in diagnosing problems with water entering structures below ground level and those who recommend design solutions. Outside of work, I have a beautiful family with a partner and three kids. I am also a qualified football coach, and I hold coaching badges with the English Football Association. I have worked with various age groups and have managed both female and male teams. I also enjoy travelling and seeing the world, but this has been hard to do in recent times!
