• Act as a champion for HSE in the field of Facilities management• Manage and coordinate contractors on site ensuring site inductions are completed and relevant permits are agreed and adhered to• Monitoring activities both internally and externally of the building such as proper waste disposal / recycling, safety systems, energy consumption • Ensure effective risk management is promoted and undertaken to support business continuity. • Ensure larger facilities projects are correctly organised, scoped, resourced and planned and ensure adherence to cost and timescale targets• Maintenance of site and associated infrastructure to support current business activities, and meet all applicable contractual, legal, regulatory and safety requirements. This includes planning for business continuity.• Proactive in the continued development of site facilities schedule/calendar to ensure all necessary activities are carried out as planned in a timely manner and to give clear visibility of long term contractors on site to all.• Control of cost and spend for Facilities, including selection and management of contractors and external service providers.• Adopt a ‘continuous improvement’ approach to Facilities management, focussing on improvements in Safety, Cost and Quality of service• Ensure site and facilities activities are in line with the requirements of both ISO14001 and ISO45001, working with the relevant managers to achieve this• Support and interact with related functions to ensure the Facilities function supports the needs of others (e.g. Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain) and ensure timely resolution of issues.• Provide out of hours facilities support where necessary i.e. Fire Alarms, emergency contractor call outs

• Took a lead role in writing, reviewing and conducting RA.• Conduct & host STEP walks on the Nottingham site. Reporting any safety issues on the STEP system. • Wrote SOP for all warehouse tasks and ensure they are effectively reviewed within the agreed time frame.• Ensure stock is picked, packed and dispatched for customer orders in a timely, accurate manner.• Safe use of the MHE fleet including the use of the fleet management system. • Organise, plan and delegate work effectively. • Leading cycle counts, stock take and involvement general inventory transactions. • Ensure accurate receipt of stock from internal/ external suppliers. • Use of the WMS to book in stock, complete transactions and queries. • Raise non-conformances for stock discrepancies as well as attending the quality meetings to represent the warehouse department. • Communicate with other departments throughout the business. • Ensure adherence to the current Housekeeping and Hygiene Policies.• Promote continuous improvement. • Effective teamwork & communication between departments including emails, phone and face to face. • Conducted staff PDRs and deliver objectives set out in PDR process. Identify staff training needs.
