I have 30 years experience in Financial Services, 27 of which have been working in Collections and Recoveries for Bank of Scotland and subsequently The Royal Bank of Scotland.My principal expertise is in leading a multi-skilled change team of Development and Senior Development Analysts who support, maintain, configure and develop the Debt Manager application to meet the strategic goals of my stakeholders. This has led to me developing an in depth knowledge of the Debt Manager application (versions 3.3, 4.1, 6.2 & 11), supporting C&R systems, contact strategy development, customer segmentation and decisioning as well as associated skills in change and stakeholder management.I have led teams through a huge volume of change ranging from small enhancements to mandatory changes, strategic enhancements, migrations and divestments.

CurrentApproached to join RBS in 2004 to become lead technical developer for their Collections Redesign programme.Progressed within the organisation into a managerial role and currently responsible for leading a team of 11 Debt Manager Development and Senior Development analysts based in Edinburgh.Main roles include:• Structuring and leading a Debt Manager support team to deliver the maximum added benefit to our customers, the Operation and other key stakeholders.• Stakeholder management, including Operational areas, Retail Credit Risk and Technology Services.• Project Management of all stakeholder driven initiatives - strategic, tactical, regulatory, mandatory and business as usual change.• Leading migrations from Legacy DM platforms to DMv11 - including mapping of back book cases• Delivering contact strategies using enhanced customer segmentation and decision engines.• Ensuring the Debt Manager application is available to the business at all times, delivered via 24/7 on call cover and helpdesk facilities.• Providing Quality Assurance for all Debt Manager changes (through design, build and testing stages).• Leading Debt Manager elements of a branch divestment programmeTrained in Debt Manager version 11.3 (AWS) (including Blaze rules engine) and legacy versions 11.1, 6.2, 4.4 & 3.1
