After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in History & Politics and a master’s in International Relations andSecurity, I have spent the last three years as a Case Manager at the Department for Work and Pensions. In this role, I have honed my skills in evidence gathering, analysis, and legal decision-making by handling reconsiderations and appeals for Personal Independence Payment claims.Working with the Civil Service has allowed me to gain first hand experience applying legislation, particularly in relation to the UK’s welfare system, and this year I completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with a view to completing the SQE. I am now eager to apply my skills and knowledge within the legal sector and obtain qualifying work experience.
