But there was one particular assignment that I believe truly set me on the path toward a career with computers. I was tasked with creating a video game, a little racing game to be more specific. I had to design the car, the level, the obstacles, the powerups, the background art, and everything else a game would need. To do this, I had to use several different software and programs, examples being Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Unity Engine, and several more. All of this required the technical understanding of these different programs so that I could make an excellent game. And not to brag, but it was a very good racing game. I was originally hired as just a helper. I was the man who did whatever job they needed. If they needed someone to cook the food, I cooked. If they needed a server, I served. Whatever job was needed, they had me do it. It got to the point where I knew how to do every job in the restaurant. After about a year of this, my manager saw how hard I was working and decided to promote me to manager position, working directly under him.
