• Production line support: liaising with product design and development engineers to provide engineering solutions to manufacturing issues, tool selection and Kanban control.• Process creation and maintenance: Writing manufacturing processes, training operatives, updating processes to include improved manufacturing method and liaising with suppliers to conduct external audits.• New product evaluation and implementation: Testing new materials and components to ensure they are fit for purpose and exceed the specified safety factor.• Use of the electronic systems for recording operative training.

As a part-time sales adviser, the 13-week training program developed my customer service and sales skills. Roles and duties included management of stock, loss prevention, and visual merchandising. Alongside this, I was given extra responsibilities including acting as a peer mentor for new employees and working alongside the manager in administrative roles.
