Reece’s professional background began as an electrical apprentice at the young age of seventeen. In the final year of his apprenticeship, this go-getter then began his entrepreneurial journey by embarking on his first business, Total Electrics and Air Conditioning. As his experience and knowledge grew as well as his passion for a long-term sustainable future for Australia, he launched Total Solar Solutions Australia in 2012.Reece has grown Total Solar Solutions Australia based on his reputation for honesty and excellence, his expansive industry licencing along with his accreditation with the Clean Energy Council for design and installation. This saw the business become one of the first solar companies in Victoria to become a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer in 2016.Reece is making an impact on the solar industry in Australia. What sets him apart is his mission to provide consumers with the highest quality solar products, which offer product longevity, adequate warranties and local technical support. This is packaged with installation by his highly qualified team, whose workmanship is focused on skill as well as customer service. All this is possible because of his commitment to his customers and his focus on his professional development, to ensure that he is at the top of the game in regard to technology, products and knowledge. Many of his key achievements have come from this commitment and his ability to be innovative and identify new approaches. While Reece primarily liaises with customers, oversees his team of sales managers and electricians as well as the ins and outs of running a business, he still loves to get out on the tools with his team and gains a lot of pride from watching his workforce deliver to consumers.As an industry leader, Reece has become a mentor, training not only his expansive workforce, but also sharing his skills and experience with the industry, empowering others with his knowledge and passion. His focus on quality was recognised in 2018 when Total Solar Solutions Australia was awarded ‘Most Quality LG Focused Dealer of the Year’ in the LG Dealer Network, consisting of some eighty dealers Australia wide. In his personal time, you will find Reece volunteering for the Knox Club Sport Fishing Club, camping with his family and supporting his favourite AFL team, Hawthorn Hawks.
