I am in my final year of a doctoral training programme at the EPSRC and SFI Centre for Doctoral Training for Sustainable Chemistry at the University of Nottingham. My research theme area is Spectroscopy for Process Intensification and Optimisation. My project area is Multi-Scale Reaction Modelling using Computational Fluid Dynamics and first principle modelling for optimisation and scale-up of Electrochemical and Photochemical continuous flow reactors and processes.I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MSc with Distinction in Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. My modelling experience includes CFD, COMSOL Multiphysics and gPROMS Process, laboratory experience includes crystallisation techniques and analysis (including basic continuous crystallisation methods) and pharmaceutical product and process analysis techniques including HPLC, XRPD, FTIR, FBRM, Raman and DSC. I also have 3 months experience in chemometric methods through MATLAB as part of my MSc final project.
