I am 24 years old and currently working as a currency dealer at Secure FX in Tokai, Cape Town. I moved to the Western Cape to achieve my study goals at age 17 after finishing my schooling in Durban. I completed my honours studies and thesis paper at the University of Cape Town in 2021, studying a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours in Economic Analysis of Financial Markets.. I previously studied my undergraduate at Stellenbosch University, completing a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Management Sciences degree in the focal point of Investment Management in 2020. With honours distinctions in my Thesis Paper, Corporate Finance, Economics and Fixed Income Securities, as well as major coverage of Financial Reporting and Analysis, Quantitative Methods, Securities Legislation, Derivative Instruments and Portfolio Management, I believe that I am well equipped to excel in the investment and finance industry. I also received distinctions in Investment Management, Financial Management and Project Management final year modules during my undergraduate at Stellenbosch University. I was voted for the Dale Carnegie Highest Award for Achievement amongst my 50 peers who took thecourse with me in 2015, and use the course's experience in my day-to-day life. I embrace challenges and problem-solving, and can work well as part of a team. I am well researched in currency markets, and enjoy following the equity and cryptocurrency markets and keeping up with trending financial topics. I challenge myself to identify market and trading patterns in order to maximise investment opportunities. Thus, I am looking forward to continue achieving my personal and professional goals in the investment field!I also have a keen interest in being active, particularly through sports such as football, tennis and golf. I also enjoy playing numerous musical instruments in my spare time.
