Having grown up in Stoke-on-Trent, I sensed the need to explore beyond my hometown for greater career prospects. Manchester, with its rapid development and abundant opportunities, became my chosen path. My goal is to absorb insights and apply them to my personal growth, ultimately benefiting my family who supported me through challenging times.Prior to assuming my current role as a Sales Executive, my career trajectory was aimed at becoming a Cinematic Animator in the gaming industry. My educational pursuits aligned with this goal, culminating in a Master’s degree in Computer Animation. Throughout this rigorous program, I discovered my aggressive pursuit of learning and a robust work ethic, evident in dedicating significant daylight hours to skill development.Despite my focus on animation, I found myself engaged in various customer service roles. These experiences provided a unique backdrop for the refinement of my interpersonal skills. Notably, my role as a Customer Experience Assistant, responsible for conducting inductions for groups exceeding 30 customers, was pivotal. It deepened my understanding of the impact of tonality, body language, and effective communication in a presentation setting, transforming my once introverted nature into a more communicative and influential professional.Since my entry into TouchPoint on January 29th, the journey has been a continual source of valuable insights and growth within the industry. Each day unfolds with unique challenges, revealing the depth of my determination and resilience. The professional environment, initially unexpected, has seamlessly integrated into my professional ethos. Networking with distinguished professionals in the industry has been particularly inspiring, reinforcing my commitment to exert maximum effort, with confidence that diligent work will yield substantial dividends in due course.Before joining TouchPoint, I found myself without clear life goals. However, that has undergone a transformative shift, and I now possess a defined end goal along with a strategic plan to achieve it. My ultimate objective is to create financial security for both myself and my family, alleviating any concerns about monetary matters. The roadmap to this goal involves advancing within the industry to establish multiple offices, subsequently venturing into strategic investments within the gaming industry and developing my own studio.
