School Psychology Intern at Huron Valley Schools, in which I had the opportunity to work across three diverse educational settings: Milford High School, Harbor High School, and County Oaks Elementary. At Milford High School, I focused on conducting comprehensive evaluations and collaborating with the special education team to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) as well as hosting monthly Mental Health Awareness Seminars, an MTSS Tier 1 awareness program offered to all MHS students. At Harbor High School, I utilized interventions for students with behavioral challenges and provided drop-in counseling services. Additionally, I have been tasked with the collection, analysis, and dissemination of student Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) data. At County Oaks Elementary, I worked closely with my host teacher to implement early intervention strategies and began developmental assessments for young learners. Throughout the internship, I continue to gain valuable experience in assessment, consultation, and intervention across various age groups and educational needs. This multi-school placement has allowed me to develop a well-rounded skill set and adapt to different school cultures and student populations.
