I enjoyed a range of responsibilities from hosting beer and food pairings that sold products, selling and delivering to local bars, restaurants and LCBO’s, to operating the canning line that packaged new products, maintaining the taproom and its beer sales, and building new equipment.

I Co-Founded and operated Toronto’s top brewery tour company, organizing professionally guided tours at local breweries, such as VIP tours for up to 25 participants, while liaising with local media for advertising and event promotions. I also managed a team of 12 employees, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and training staff on proper tour etiquette and beer varieties, while leading my team toward operational excellence in a safe work environment.

I promoted the brewery’s brand recognition, built an Instagram presence for @hendersonontheroad, managed festivals and events, planned and executed VIP parties, hosted beer and food pairings based on qualified expertise, and trained new hires on professional serving and pouring techniques.

I advanced my understanding of how a brewery is operated, discovering my thirst for excelling in the hospitality business, customer service, and promoting. I supported customer relations, bar sales, and special events.

In this position, I first honed my skills in promotion and brand amplification. I worked with 100s of clients with diverse needs in a wide variety of industries ensuring their marketing materials exceeded expectations.
