I meticulously executed brewing operations within stringent parameters using a 2-vessel mash-tun and kettle system. My journey at Helios Brewing Co began with volunteering to assist with sales efforts aimed at securing placement in Star Liquor warehouses and stores. This led to my transition into the role of Sales Representative, where I eventually progressed to become the Sales Manager. During my tenure at Helios Brewing, I deepened my passion for brewing through home brewing and self-education. This dedication earned me acceptance into a Cert III in Brewing program and an opportunity to train as a brewer at Helios.My role as both Sales Manager and assistant brewer at Helios provided me with valuable insights into both the wholesale and brewing aspects of the industry. I began my journey in the liquor industry as a casual liquor retail attendant, gradually immersing myself in various aspects of store operations.A crucial aspect of my role involved conducting weekly stocktakes, ordering, and stock recounts to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify any discrepancies or losses within the store. Through meticulous attention to detail, I ensured that the correct amount of stock was maintained, contributing to efficient store operations.Through dedication and hard work, I progressed through several promotions and leadership programs, ultimately becoming a Retail Manager for Star Liquor's premium brand, Sense of Taste. This opportunity allowed me to hone my leadership skills and develop a deeper understanding of retail management within the liquor industry.Drawing on my combined experience in both brewery and retail sectors, I was entrusted with responsibilities spanning group purchasing of craft beer for Star Liquor and organizing brewing events at Star Liquor's Brew Club.
