Mr. Shaw has lived in Libya, Pakistan, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Brazil, Colombia and Panama, and speaks Portuguese (fluent) and Spanish.

Program Manager, Guajira Thermal Coal Project, MPX Colombia S.A, Colombia. Program Manager leading MPX’s Program Management services to oversee the design, construction, and implementation of the open pit and longwall underground coal mine infrastructure, new roads, 150 kilometer railroad and 70 MMTPA coal export terminal through management, technical supervision, and/or coordination of all program activities. The $3.5 billion project ranges from project development through build out and commissioning, including project feasibility and financing, environmental documentation and permitting, port and railroad concession agreements, land acquisition and construction permitting, engineering, engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) contractor selection and evaluation, and construction management.

Panama Canal Expansion Program, Autoridad del Canal de Panamá. Resident program manager for two years responsible for providing management advisory services to the Authority and expertise in support of the $5.25 billion canal expansion programs which included feasibility, master planning and the development program of the Third Lane Locks Project. Reece worked closely with the Authority and other consultants to develop, concept designs, cost estimates, schedules, environmental documents, contracting strategies, risk identification and mitigation plans, salinity intrusion models, performance specifications, and the project manual. Container Berth Design, Port of Oakland, California. Project manager for design of the replacement of the Port's Berth 22. Led the multi-disciplinary team whose work involved the replacement of the existing tenant-occupied wharf with a fully functional pile supported container wharf.
