With over 40 years of global experience in port and marine infrastructure projects, I am a seasoned senior manager with a passion for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders. I currently an Executive Vice President at TKC Engineering, a Disabled Veteran Owned Business that provides engineering services, research & feasibility studies, corporate training, and drone services for the public and private sectors.In my role, I leverage my expertise in construction management, civil engineering, technical auditing, value engineering, and program management to oversee complex and multi-disciplinary projects related to port and marine development, security, automation, and environmental restoration. Some of the projects I have directed or assisted with include the Floating Automated Ship-to-Shore Terminal (FASST) concept, the Biorock sustainable marine development method, and the port and marine work in Southeast Asia and Latin America. I also have a strong background in financial management and business skills, having obtained an Executive MBA from Golden Gate University and having evaluated investment plans, developed equity and ownership scenarios, and managed project budget administration. My mission is to create value for clients and communities by applying innovative and cost-effective strategies that enhance port and marine performance, resilience, and sustainability. I am a ACOPNE Diplomate of Port Engineering and a member of the ASCE Committee on America’s Infrastructure (CAI) helping to put together the 2025 Report Card on Ports.
