Manager Information & Communications Technology Services
CurrentOversight and management of the Information Technology function within a large regional public organisation.- Oversee and manage the functional areas and delivery of corporate applications, web development, geospatial, and ICT systems and support services to the organisation and for the community.- Provide specialist advice, guidance and support to key stakeholders on all aspects of the ICT functions to encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions.- Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, systems and performance management frameworks for all ICT related activity to ensure a high level of professional practice and deliver compliant, effective and efficient outcomes within the established budget allocations.- Develop and implement ICT plans and strategies to meet business needs, enhance stakeholder engagement, and challenge and motivate providers to optimise service outcomes to enhance sustainable ICT throughout the Council.- Partner with stakeholders to develop innovative ICT strategies, establish ICT arrangements and lead high-level negotiations to deliver value for money outcomes.- Apply appropriate governance and risk management frameworks to monitor compliance, security of assets, manage risk and improve the functions undertaken and projects delivered, including the review,and implementation of an effective ICT Disaster Recovery Plan and Business Continuity Plan.- Analyse cost make up and financial information and assess financial risk to inform planning, control and decision making.- Significantly contribute to the Information Services Steering Committee whereby the Committee’s purpose is to lead the provision of technology solutions that empower citizens and enable Council staff to provide enhanced and seamless services to the community.
