I am a sophomore at Indiana University in the Kelley School of Business pursuing a degree in marketing and digital and social media business applications, with a minor in merchandising. As of right now, I pride myself on being a creative and diligent worker with strong communication skills; working as a social media marketing intern for a local marketing firm throughout my senior year of high school has heavily contributed to this.Along with my internship, I developed a passion for marketing through DECA, which provided me with opportunities to work alongside my peers, create marketing campaigns, present my ideas to several individuals, and travel around the country for competitions. DECA also helped shape me into the person I am today through my board positions, as well as forcing me to step out of my comfort zone. In the future, I hope to utilize my skills of communication and digital creation in the marketing or retail industry. I see myself excelling in a marketing-based career that requires strong communication skills and provides me with an inspiring and opportunistic environment.
