Starting as an intern in September, in this past month I have been involved in a variety of different editing projects; helping create content for brands such as "Lush" and "L'occitane" to name but a few. Using Premiere Pro, I've been an active editor right from the get-go, and has allowed me to see the Production world from a truly professional basis. Cherryduck's strong focus on professionalism and perfection has taught me an incredible amount in a short period of time; such as how to adjust your own editing styles to fit the needs of a professional client and taking on constructive criticism from your talented peers and applying it to improve your skills within the industry. It's a privilege to work here; every day I'm there is refreshing and fun and I have never enjoyed working somewhere as much as I do here.

I started work at "The Brasshouse" on a part-time basis throughout my studies at University.After graduating I began working full time; choosing to retain my independence and employment instead of taking the usual path of moving back home after studies. Since then I have learned important skills within the trade; helping out with stock management, supervising staff on shift, coming up with and implementing new ideas and strategies for business around busy periods such as the Bournemouth Airshow and the Christmas period too. The role has also improved my confidence and changed me for the better, allowing me to be more assertive and quick thinking than I ever was before.

Part of a necessary Work Placement brief during my Third Year of University, I spent a month working with the University's in-house production company "Red Balloon". Throughout my time in this role (of which I juggled with my Part-Time Pub job too) I was responsible for editing packages together from pre-filmed content, such as Guest Lectures at the university. As well as this I was involved in a location shoot for "The Prince's Trust" in Bournemouth, and then logging and editing the footage throughout my remainder of time there.

Abingdon And Witney College

During my college studies I co-ran the College Radio Station as well as co-hosting a breakfast radio show "The Beat Breakfast" every other weekday morning. This experience was useful for time management and extra curricular motivation due to several early starts, as well as allowing me to improve my skills in audio mixing & editing
