I was lucky to have a front row seat helping to grow two important companies in the energy industry: Drillinginfo (2007-2013), and RSEG (2016-2020), both of which provided oil & gas operators and investors with the ability to make smarter capital allocation decisions via transformational intelligence, advanced-analytics, cleaner data, software, & technology, for their respective times. Both Drillinginfo and RSEG are now part of the same company (Enverus), valued at $4.5 Billion+. It's an excellent company with excellent people and many great friends, and I'm lucky to have been shaped by both.I like to build companies from zero to one, I've known it's always what I wanted to do.At FLOW, we are focused on building the oil and gas industry's most formidable answers company that delivers best in class intelligence using unbiased information for anyone allocating capital into the industry.I also cofounded CampusOptics, a SaaS platform that enables Universities to maintain all aspects of campus safety. The company’s mission was born from a personal tragedy where three of my friends lost their lives in a building fire in 2004, and I am lucky to be alive. One of my missions in life is to keep tragedies like these from happening to others, and enable Campus Safety professionals with the technology they need to make smarter decisions, faster. CampusOptics is led by the former AcademicWorks management team, one of higher ed’s faster growing software companies which was acquired by Blackbaud in 2017.
