About Reed Brown

I am a 5th-year PhD student at Stanford University, studying fluid dynamics in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. My advisor is Prof. Ali Mani and my research is in multiphase computational fluid dynamics. My current work is focused on developing wall boundary conditions that accurately model the effect of three-phase contact lines. My expertise is broadly in computational physics: PDE development and analysis, numerical methods, and high-performance computing. In addition, I have training in numerical linear algebra and data science.
