As Server Assistant at Southern Social, I was responsible for identifying needs and creating requirements that include data needs, metric definitions and calculations. I constructed and executed SQL queries and participated in reviews of physical data models and related technical details. Creating repeat customers by filling water, bringing extra food, clearing tables, and generally making sure needs are met as soon as possible is my primary objective. Managing the needs of around 100 guests and 10 servers during busy hours to ensure efficiency of the restaurant is a normal work shift for me. Transporting approximately 120 plates of food to various tables and seats during an 8-hour shift is also a large part of my responsibilities.

I registered customers’ specific orders quickly to meet customer expectations. I guided 5 new hires through the training process to establish a strong working foundation. I also maintained customer relations by using positive language and tone.
