As a student-athlete at NDSU, I have acquired skills that will last me a lifetime. Balancing academics, football, and a small business have taught me how precious time is. My academics are a priority as they will take me farther in life than football. Football has taught me attention to detail, communication and attacking the process. Owning a small business has taught me thinking outside the box and how to build a network that will always have your back.As a former sales and marketing intern at PRx Performance, I worked with a team that managed PRx’s main brand and sister brand The GRIND Fitness. I created content, wrote blogs, closed captioned videos, and learned how to operate Shopify. I designed content and created a marketing plan and content for The GRIND Fitness. I with the assistance of my supervisor, wrote blogs informing consumers about the wide range of products we offer. I also modeled equipment for The GRIND Fitness. I added closed captions onto all PRx YouTube videos to boost traffic to our videos. I used Shopify to find out which products needed more exposure to boost sales.
