Reed worked with the Founder/CEO on a Transition/Succession plan. His successor is the current COO/VP of Operations. There was an active effort to focus on the Strategic Direction (Gateway Business Models analyzed), along with a tactical plan addressing each phase of the strategic direction. Reed had responsibility for establishing a formal Sales organization, and for a large portion of the Marketing effort. The company was Re-branded under Reed's watchful eye as well! Gateway Global is a clear leader in Northern California, and the San Francisco Bay Area, as a full-service ground transportation provider - Corporate Events - Planning and execution; Corporate Employee Shuttles, Hotel Shuttles, and traditional Chauffeured transportation as well. Gateway has been in a significant growth mode for several years. The Sales plan has included contacting and contracting Gateway's services to Technology, Biotech, and Financial (VC's, Investment Bankers) Services companies throughout the entire Bay Area. Also, Gateway Global manages several Fortune 1000 companies ground transportation needs throughout the U.S. and World, with its 24/7/365 reservation and dispatch organization.

TapIn Solutions provided an internally developed and integrated, comprehensive suite of SaaS solutions for the Golf Industry. The suite included a website, email marketing, event management, and ecommerce; tee time reservation system. For many years TapIn's solutions were incomparable from a design and professional deployment standpoint.

Lead Executive for Elevation, a Rich Media web property pioneer (e.g. Web Commercials, Vignettes). Using Flash from Macromedia, Elevation created extraordinary web properties for the purpose of introducing a new product, or company overview. Customers include several household name Silicon Valley Companies. Elevation designed, and developed a proprietary email marketing solution using the EmailLabs platform. The product was introduced as WEmail™, an HTML Email Marketing and Customer Communication solution, used by large and small companies alike for one-off or large email blasts. In the early days of the Internet Boom, Reed, provided the Vision and created the business plan for Youth Sports Network (YSN). YSN secured exclusive long-term technology marketing agreements with virtually every youth & amateur sports organization in the US (representing over 20 million children, ages 6 to 18, and over 4 million adults. All online endeavors (e.g. individual league and regional websites, online registration & communication to all participants; administrators, coaches, parents, & players) were designed and developed by YSN, using the Broadvision personalization software platform. The concept was that every league administrator, kid, parent, grandparent, or friend could have their own personal youth sports experience (i.e. unique personal virtual online world ). YSN was “first to market”, and through its merger with myteam.com garnered arguably 80% of the available market in its segment (over 20 million participants), and in 2003 was acquired by Active.com – also known as the Active Network.
