The book, now available as an eBook, prepares undergraduates for the grueling and unique management consulting recruitment process. College2Consulting was written over the course of three years and includes content from dozens of contributing authors. The Story - The project started in the fall of 2008, one of the worst consulting recruitment periods in history, when the two co-authors realized how many of their friends were struggling with getting a job in consulting. The duo launched a 200 page beta version of the word document in the fall of 2010. The formal survey results were so promising that the team decided to go for gold: publish a book. A year later, after adding 100 pages of material, editing 44 versions, and expanding the team to include an editor, graphic designer, web developer, and a social media marketer, the 300 page book successfully launched.
