    This position is to serve as a Member of the Scientific & Industry Advisory Board (SIAB) of The Testing, Evaluation and Control of Heterogeneous Large-scale Systems of Autonomous Vehicles (TECHLAV) CenterThe TECHLAV Center is composed of a strong multi-disciplinary team from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (a Historically Black Collage and University, HBCU) and the University of Texas at San Antonio (a Hispanic Serving Institution, HSI). The Center is also partnering with Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (a National Tribal College and University, TCU). TECHLAV will spur innovation through careful design, adaptation, and testing to achieve two main goals: a) teaming and cooperative control of large-scale autonomous systems of vehicles (LSASV), and b) testing, evaluation, validation and verification of LSASV. The SIAB consists of prominent researchers from both industry and academia. The board advises TECHLAV in the development of research plans and identification of potential technical barriers. They will also provide recommendations regarding research, educational priorities, university and faculty interfaces, technology transfer, and the nature of the demonstration and verification. The board members attend annual meetings and also collaborate and advise the TECHLAV Center in the areas of future sustainability.
