I'm a Software Engineering Student with a background in Graphic Design and UX. I previously worked in Graphic/ Web Design, primarily on the UX side of things. Through understanding how users interacted with the end product, and how to draw attention to CTA sections or sales points, I became curious about the development of the website itself. From there I buckled down and enrolled at Sheffield Hallam University where I'm in my final year of an Engineering Bachelors of Software Engineering. Through my course I've learned the basics when it comes to Systems Programming, Project Management and Agile Workflows, however through the Professional Projects module, and my own personal projects, I've developed a wide array of skills in a diverse selection of technologies, methodologies and programming languages. I'm currently working on my dissertation and final modules, however I still program for myself in my spare time. Subject areas currently interesting me are low-level embedded programming languages like Rust and C, although Web will always have a place in my heart. I'm looking to undertake a graduate position upon finishing my degree.
