My name is Reece Lawrence and I am a Senior Mechanical Engineering Student at Texas Tech with a strong passion for biomechanical research and development. I am currently a project management intern at Texas Air Systems, where I estimate and select commercial HVAC equipment. This role has provided me with hands-on experience in project management and mechanical equipment estimation. I also work part time at Delta Robotics Inc, where I serve as part of the research team for shape-memory alloy artificial muscles, which has given me practical experience in iterative design, pneumatic control systems, and material property testing.I hold certifications in SOLIDWORKS and Autodesk Inventor, specializing in mechanical design, and possess intermediate skills in Python and MATLAB. My research in the Human Centered Research and Design Lab at Texas Tech has given me experience in digital human modelling, biomechanics research, and data analysis.I am currently seeking a doctoral program in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in biomechanics. In the future, I want to work in digital human modelling and contribute to advancements in biomechanical engineering.
