As a research intern, I am currently investigating the mechanical behavior of Polylactic Acid (PLA) when exposed to repeated cycles of 3D printing, shredding, and extrusion. This research aims to better understand PLA's durability and resilience under cyclic processes, with implications for sustainable manufacturing and recycling in additive manufacturing.

The competition requires running a 1:8 scale of a racing car to compete with university teams around a track on Yas Island.Led a team of 10 members and secured 3rd place in the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League STEM Competition. Identified and implemented optimizations in our autonomous vehicle algorithms, resulting in improved performance and efficiency.Employed ROS2 for the development of autonomous vehicle systems, showcasing adaptability to new programming languages.

• Gained insights into various construction methodologies and processes, understanding how projects come to life from concept to completion.• Learned about different types of mechanical equipment, their specifications, and how they are integrated into construction projects.• Explored Mechanical, and Plumbing systems, understanding their functions and installations within construction projects.• Engaging in site visits allowed me to visualize the progress of construction and understand practical aspects in real-world settings.• Transitioning to the estimation department provided exposure to the pre-construction phase, offering insights into project development and planning.• Assigned to raise inspections, review submittals and the recording of consultants’ comments contributing to my understanding of quality control and documentation.• Exposure to project management processes provided me with a foundation for understanding how projects are orchestrated from inception to execution.• Collaborating with colleagues, mentors, and engineers enhanced my communication and teamwork abilities, vital for successful project execution.

Wind Altitude Correlation Research Co-op The research involves building a system to measure wind speed at different altitudes and correlate the data using the logarithmic law model.The aim was to collect data on wind speed at different to find the wind shear and surface roughness constants for the RIT Dubai campus. A model was designed and built and programmed to record the desired information. Upon the collection of the data, it was then plotted to help understand the wind profile. Helium balloons were used to lift up the programmed system based on Arduino Uno, Anemometer, BMP180, and a microSD card to collect and record the data.

Our Women’s Volleyball team for Spring 2023 was the Runner Up in both the RIT Dubai and the American University of Sharjah Women’s Volleyball Tournament along with the First place in the Amity University Women’s Volleyball Tournament.

- Familiarized with how the Chilled Water HVAC system works. - Constantly visiting construction sites to observe the work progress and monitor some works. - Assisted my mentor in writing contracts with 7 other subcontractors who were assigned to complete the job at hand. - Attended weekly meetings with the consultants to review the work progress, consider potential problems and discuss viable solutions.

• Organized a hybrid event, making it possible for guests to attend either online or in-person. • Photographed and video graphed the entire TEDxRIT event.• Edited videos of two TED speakers and got them approved and uploaded to the official TEDx Talks YouTube page, with over 1000 views each.
