I am leading a team with responsibility to ensure compliance with the Education Services to Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and National Code of Practice. My role requires development and implementation of processes to ensure Deakin University complies with the legislative obligations and the University policies and procedures . The position is intrinsic to Deakin University's compliance with the legislative and reporting requirements of Australian Government agencies (The Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Education, Skills and Employment and TEQSA). The role requires to provide accurate and most update advice, training and support to staff across Deakin who manage international students to ensure compliance and Deakin International achieves and maintains high-quality to serve international students and other stakeholders. The position is also responsible for the overall management of processes required to maintain accurate reporting, data and records in PRISMS and to manage all the courses delivered to International students by Deakin University with most updated status on the CRICOS register.
