CREDENTIALS:I am a Corporate Health Coach (RYT-200 (Yoga Alliance) & YIC-300 (S-VYASA) | Mindfulness Meditation Coach- TRCI, Monash University | Counseling- Diploma Holder, The KEW Academy | Certification in Nutrition- Stanford University, Coursera) passionate about Corporate Health and Wellness. APPROACH:My approach is integrative and comprehensive, with a focus on physical, mental, and emotional health. In recent years, we have acknowledged that the concept of health & well-being is not standalone, it's holistic. It is truly addressed well by taking into consideration all the dimensions of human existence (Pancha Kosha: The Five Layers of Human Existence). GOAL:As a corporate health coach, my goal is to inspire, inform, and initiate employees to incorporate yogic practices & techniques in their daily desk jobs compatible with their busy lives & workspaces. These techniques are simple yet powerful to release stress, manage NCDs (HYPOTHYROIDISM, HYPERTENSION, DIABETES, ARTHRITIS, PCOS), enhance focus, increase attention, & boost productivity. Simultaneously, I wish to encourage corporates to adopt a yogic culture in their workspaces with an attitude like workplace yogis. A workplace yogi is a secure karma yogi away from office politics, focused on his craft & skill. A yogic culture in the workspace is one based on the ideals of karma yoga: yoga karmasu kausalam i.e. Yoga is dexterity in action. BASIS: As Bhagavad Gita puts it: It is performing one's duty with a sense of purpose that helps one derive meaning & satisfaction in life. Consequently, it goes a long way to increase employee engagement, thereby, enhancing employee job satisfaction, and improving employee retention, thus, arresting employee attrition.
