Sector focus: Real estate funds | Fund managers | HospitalityResponsible for managing client relationships and audit delivery for a portfolio of £1.8m+ in fees for real estate funds and companies. Main responsibilities included: • Delivering value clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions for improving their businesses;• Ensuring engagements were executed in accordance with the firm's methodologies and guidance, professional standards, and local legal and regulatory requirements;• Leading and coordinating the planning and management of assignments in an effective and efficient manner; • Securing and enhancing relationships with senior client management;• Being a pro-active team leader, ensuring team members are properly managed and motivated; and• Ensuring staff needs, including training and development, are identified and acted upon. This included up to 20 team members, including offshore teams.

Sector focus: Real estate funds | Fund managers | Hospitality Responsible for managing audit for a portfolio of £500k in fees for real estate funds, fund managers and hospitality clients. Main responsibilities included:• Leading and coordinating the planning and management of audit services in an effective and efficient manner;• Managing the delivery of high quality audit services to clients;• Ensuring audits are executed in accordance with methodologies and guidance, professional standards, and local legal and regulatory requirements;• Building and maintaining sustainable, secure relationships with senior client management;• Ensuring the technical correctness and presentational standard of all client deliverables (IFRS or UK GAAP); and• Ensuring team members, including 15+ onshore and offshore staff, are properly managed and motivated. Staff needs, including training and development, are identified and acted upon.

Sector focus: Private equity funds | Venture capital funds | Asset managementResponsible for managing audit for a portfolio of €700K in fees for private equity funds. Main responsibilities included:• Leading and coordinating the planning and management of audit services in an effective and efficient manner;• Managing the delivery of high quality audit services to clients;• Ensuring audits are executed in accordance with methodologies and guidance, professional standards, and local legal and regulatory requirements;• Building and maintaining sustainable, secure relationships with senior client management;• Ensuring the technical correctness and presentational standard of all client deliverables (IFRS or Lux GAAP); and• Developing and maintaining an appropriate external network of business contacts.

Sector focus: Agriculture | Hospitality | Media and entertainment | Asset management | Private equityMain responsibilities included: • Executing client audits with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and technical accounting matters; • Completing fieldwork on client sites to ensure delivery of the Audit process; • Working closely with other teams and service lines as required to help ensure the smooth delivery of client services; and• Leading a team of junior members including offshore teams, providing on-the-job coaching.
