Current• Treasury Management - Preparation & Opening Inland LC Documents Payments, Forex Cover Booking and maintatining forward cover booking and utilization statement, Import Payment, Export receipts, Funds management, Handling operations pertaining to EEFC• Export Sales booking – Booking of export invoices • Payroll Management – Payroll processing, Income tax computation• Business Compliance & Controls: - Based upon the risk analysis and the internal audit plans for the year, I lead the activity of internal controls assurance. I work closely with the teams from the Renfro India vis-à-vis the independent internal audit team. It includes validation of the audit findings, agreeing upon the Management Implementation Plan and fixing responsibilities.• Financial Processes Re-engineering: - Aimed at ensuring timely, accurate and complete reporting of the financials, this responsibility includes critical review of the transaction processing in finance and improvements therein, re-framing chart of accounts, speeding up the consolidation and grouping process. This will is looked upon as a major change management exercise.• Interim Audit and Final Audit: - Co-champion for statutory audit. Works closely with the CFO on the matters like preparation of the audit schedules and ledger scrutiny, coordination between the auditor and the finance team to ensure smooth and timely preparation for the audits, preparation of the financials including balance sheet and profit and loss COA reconciliation, interaction with the auditors etc.• Fixed Assets accounting: – scrutiny, decision on capitalization, depreciation computation.• Taxation: - Tax audit, compilation of details, preparation of schedules for tax computation, depreciation accounting under Income Tax Act VAT and CST – Compilation of details for monthly returns. • IT System Development – Champion for Finance module implementation. It is SQL based dot net application.
