Interim role supporting program design and proposal development for the International Services Department at the American Red Cross, leading USG funding proposal processes, coordinating FY26 Resource Mobilization Planning, and collaborating to track new funding opportunities.

As an Associate with the Global Partnerships (GP) team at the American Red Cross International Services Department (ISD), I advance the organization’s global humanitarian mission, focusing on Movement Relations and the Service to Armed Forces initiatives. I manage key responsibilities that support disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts with our Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement partners.My role involves coordinating leadership meetings, including agenda creation, speaker coordination, and follow-up on action items. I contribute to communication strategies by drafting reports, presentations, and briefings and assist in planning the American Red Cross's involvement in Movement Statutory Meetings. Additionally, I develop tools for Movement Relations, manage relationship strategies, and identify opportunities to promote American Red Cross expertise within the Movement, ensuring effective collaboration across departments. I also create resources on international humanitarian issues and the global Red Cross/Red Crescent network to support the American Red Cross's mission and strategic objectives.

Program Management Functions: • Coordinated all functions for 22 organization-wide training series related to different legal matters• Facilitated the summer Law Clerk Program for the Office of the General Counsel Executive Assistant to the General Counsel:• Maintained calendar for the General Counsel to include meetings, appointments, travel, and other events• Assisted the Government Relations team with the creation and implementation of presentations for congress members, high-level briefs for the CEO, and tracking social media

The YLAI Professional Fellows program is a 5-week program for entrepreneurs, funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. YLAI brings 250 promising leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean each year to the United States to expand their leadership and entrepreneurial skills and network through skills-building workshops and opportunities to learn from and exchange with U.S. counterparts.

• Promoted themes such as positive identity, leadership, effective communication, and anti-drug education in two rural middle schools in the Totonicapán region of Guatemala• Coordinated the peer review process for USAID funded grants within the Youth in Development section of Peace Corps Guatemala, critiquing and offering feedback to fellow coordinators• Programmed events from nation-wide sexual education indicators to create sessions for middle and high school students alongside the Department of Education for the state of Totonicapán
