As the General Manager and Director of Everyday Limited, (business compliance solutions) and General Manager of GemSmart Limited, (consultancy services), my key focus is on overseeing all elements of the two companies to combine and enhance the complementing offers to expand the number of customers benefiting from the EverydayComply solution.EverdayComply helps senior management reduce their compliance risk. It enables management to pinpoint gaps in procedures, target specific development needs of their people and produce hard evidence should it ever be required by a regulator.EverydayComply originated from a need to reduce the operating risks in one of our business partners. We became aware of a number of incidents where the H&S Executive had found that insufficient training or poor procedures resulted in serious injuries to the drivers of FLTs and significant fines to the companies concerned. We owed it to our staff and our business that our people were aware of any risks associated with their role and that our procedures and processes ensured these risks were minimised. EverydayComply delivered this. It was apparent that a flexible tool could not only be used to reduce H&S risks but could benefit every business or organisation that was at risk from some level of legislation and compliance regulation. Our aim is to become the leading tool for organisations to protect their people and their business by reducing compliance risks. I joined Gemsmart Limited originally as a business development manager, immediately after completing my degree at the University of Kent, now having worked for the company for almost ten years. I have worked for Gemsmart Limited, (business compliance solutions) since its formation in 2011 and have consulted for a number of companies on behalf of the two businesses since. I have worked in a number of different roles overseeing all elements of a business to ensure it functions to the best of its potential.
