As a Teaching Assistant (TA) for OIM 210 (Introduction to Business Information Systems) I teach the Microsoft Excel portion of the class. This dynamic position requires a combination of technical expertise in Excel and a passion for helping students succeed in mastering this essential tool for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making. I teach one lab section a week and am responsible for delivering an engaging and informative lesson that covers a wide range of Excel topics, including data entry, formulas, functions, data analysis, charts, pivot tables, and advanced features, that are used in that week's classwork project and homework projects. Another large part of my job is I hold regular office hours totaling 20 hours per week to provide one-on-one assistance to students seeking help with classwork and homework. Through teaching others I have strengthened my Excel Skills increasing my level of proficiency.

In my role, I focus on delivering high-quality food and beverages with exceptional customer service, all while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount throughout every aspect of our operations. Additionally, I am responsible for implementing effective training techniques to onboard and develop our team. Recently, I successfully trained 20 new employees, equipping them with strong customer service skills. This included fostering the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.

In my professional journey, I have honed robust event coordination and planning skills through hands-on experience. Collaborating closely with team members, I led the planning of events up to six months in advance. This involved meticulous coordination with vendors, precise scheduling of staff, and overseeing all aspects of event setup and breakdown to ensure seamless execution. My ability to troubleshoot issues swiftly and implement creative solutions, particularly in response to sudden weather changes, has been instrumental in maintaining operational continuity and guest satisfaction. With a calm and professional demeanor, I have contributed significantly to the success of over 80 business events, fostering positive outcomes and lasting impressions.

As a lifeguard at The Cape Club of Sharon, I was responsible for keeping the club members safe at the pool. I was able to enforce the pool rules in an effective yet kind way. Part of my job included teaching one-on-one swim lessons to little kids that were first learning to swim. Another important part of my job was checking in members and providing them with towels, covers, and toys for their kids.
